Bill, I know you are shining in heaven, in the arms of Our Lord with your beautiful smile. I had the picture you wanted for the Howe Reunion. You were a warm, kind man with a lovely personality. I enjoyed out last conversation at the Howe Reunion. I will remember the times at the cabin when I was young. Prayers and good thoughts to your family. Sharon Howe Ditsworth and husband Dick.

I will truly miss your sweet smile and your caring personality. I have run into you many places over the past years, and you always remembered who I was. I was the youngest of all the first cousins.

I have such fond memories of you and Jean. I remember once I rode my tricycle to your house and parked it behind your truck and you ran it over......you were so upset with me, but I knew later as I grew older it was because you loved me. :) I know you are at peace and with God, and Jean and Danny are there to greet you, Kris, I'm thinking of you and wish you peace at this difficult time. A sailor, a long-time plumber, and outdoorsman. Wish I had gotten to know you, Bill. I will always remember your smiling face from family reunions.

I had been thinking of calling Bill very recently, to ask if he could tell me just where the old Howe Family Farm was located, where his mother would have lived as a child. Too late, what a shame, so often we put things off, and then find out that it is now too late to do it. Bill was a very kind and sweet man, in my experience, with a very good and healthy sense of humor, if not quite as "strong" as his cousin Jerry White! I'm sorry that his time on this earth has come to an end, he will surely be missed at the family reunion this summer. I've been meaning to make up a list of all of the cousins in Bill's generation, and this has prompted me to take care of that detail. Sadly, I'm going in for back surgery the day of the funeral (wish me luck!) but I'll try to make it on Monday, July 6th. My thoughts are with Kristy, and everyone in the Irwin family. Michael Howe
