William Norton

William “Bill” Rocco Norton, age 79, passed away at Mercy Health System on Tuesday, August 22,
2023.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 8, 1944, the son of William and Violet (Vitacco) Norton.
Bill married Dolores Federle on October 5, 1963 in Wheeling, Illinois.
He was a Deputy for Lake County Sheriff Department for 8 years, sold RV’s in Kenosha and worked
with his father as a tile setter.
He is survived by his wife: Dolores; daughters: Laurie A. Schneider, St. Louis and Christine M.
Guthrie, Lake Geneva; Grandchildren: Quentin T. Schneider, Ethan M. Schneider and Colton D.
Guthrie; great granddaughter, Felicity A. Schneider; brother: Alan (Barbara) Norton; and brother-in-
law: Edward (Janice) Federle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Norton.
There will be no services per Bills request.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
