Kathy Beadle left a message on August 3, 2015:
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, & friend. As a family friend of William's sister, Peggy,, I know that he, like all of the family, was a wonderful person. I remember the welcoming feeling when I would visit their home, and the times we sat around the picnic table eating, talking, and laughing. William will be missed by all who knew him. Sincerely, Kathy Beadle
Gee and Tom Ballweg left a message on August 1, 2015:
We are Audrey's brother and sister-in-law. Over the past several years, we have gotten to know and grown to love Bill as a part of our family. Although we will miss him terribly, we will be sustained by the many happy memories we hold in our hearts of him sharing Ballweg holiday reunions, family celebrations, and our daughter's wedding in Minnesota with us last fall! His deep Catholic faith was an example for us all and we feel blessed to have known him.
Mary & Jim Mellenthin left a message on July 31, 2015:
Jim and I came to know Bill through Audrey Ballweg, my sister, and he has become like one of the Ballweg family. He has seen my daughters graduate from college and has been at many family celebrations over the last 5-6 years. We were blessed to have him in our lives and will miss his caring, loving and jovial presence. Mary & Jim
Kim Durham left a message on July 30, 2015:
I've seen Bill around the parish for years but did not get to know him better until the last year. As a Care Team member of our parish he spent many hours serving those who were lonely, needed a friend or wanted to share life stories. It is no surprise to me that on his availability form he put "I'm flexible" and "I'd like to visit, listen and talk with people." A contagious smile and a sparkle in your eyes Bill..that is how I know you and love who you are. Thank you for your great example of love for the Lord.....a great light in this world and in our lasting memories.
