Todd M. Peterson, age 46, died on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at his home after a battle with lung cancer. He was born on August 28, 1964 in Madison to Lee and Jeanette (Born) Peterson. He married Lisa Wolf on June 5, 1993 in Sun Prairie. Todd was a caring and loving person who would do anything for anyone. He worked for the Walgreens Distribution Center in Windsor for over 17 years. He enjoyed boating, fireworks, remodeling his farmette and spending time with family and close friends. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and working on cars.
He is survived by his wife Lisa; his parents Lee and Jeanette; 3 bothers Scott of Rio, Craig of DeForest, David of Columbus; 3 sisters, Cindy (Tom) Schultz of Columbus, Cathy (Roy O’Kane) of Columbus, Dawn (Bill Storkson) Peterson of DeForest; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son Kole Peterson in 2004.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at St Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive in Sun Prairie. Father Robert Bales will preside. Burial will be held at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
