Thomas “Tom” Connelly, age 49 of Madison passed away on Monday July 14, 2014, peacefully at his home. He was born on November 21, 1964 in Columbus WI, the son of Gregory and Diane (Schey) Connelly. Tom enjoyed attending MARC East and enjoyed all the simple things in life that others take for granted. Tom is survived by his parents, Greg and Diane of Sun Prairie; brothers, Joe (Vanessa) of Sun Prairie, Jim (Jennifer) of Marshall, Jeff (Jennifer) of Sun Prairie; Grandmother, Marcella Schey of Sun Prairie; Nieces, Emily Rose, Alyssa, Lindsey, Emily Quinn, Ella, Jadeyn; Nephews, Chad, Carson, Landon, and Jackson; and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 18, 2014 at 11am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1935 County Highway V., in East Bristol. Father Robert Butz will preside. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held at 9am until the time of Mass at the Church on Friday.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Dreamweavers, Inc. especially Matt and Alison and to MARC East for all the loving care given to Tom over the years. Also thanks to St. Mary's Hospital and Agrace Hospice Care for all the care they provided. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Dreamweavers, Inc., MARC East, or Agrace Hospice Care. We love you, and you will always be in our thoughts.
