Thomas Richard (“TR”) Stoker, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 29, 2021. He was a cherished friend and will be deeply missed by many. TR was a blast. We met as golf enthusiasts and became fast friends. What an interesting life he had: from entrepreneurship to ski jumping to race car enthusiast to golf! TR laughed easily and often, bringing his sunny outlook to all around him. A bad day on the course? Better than a good day at the office. Politics? No matter. Stupid people doing dumb things? They made the rest of us look good. He minimized his health struggles to stay in step with the group. How fortunate we were to have TR as a friend. He loved his family, deeply and unqualifiedly, and he cherished the many, many, many trips with Rich. Deepest sympathies to Rich and Denise. Your loss is shared by many. Cathy

I only had the pleasure of Tom's company a couple of times. But from the first time I met him he felt like an old friend. The warmth and kindness was instantly felt. I regret that our paths have not crossed more often. What an incredible life story. My deepest sympathies to all his friends and family.

My heartfelt condolences to Rich, Denise, and all of TR's extended family. I met TR through Rich during our times playing golf on the Golf Channel AM Tour. We met up each year at several Majors but he had the most fun at Nationals. He always had a blast, wonderful smile on his face, so looked forward to catching up with his new found golfing buddies, fun filled evening dinners or just hanging out in the clubhouse after our play. He always greeted me with a big hug and you will be missed. Love from your dear Texas friend, Marcy.
