Theresa A. Klubertanz-Salettel, age 71, died on Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Ocala, FL. She was born on July 9, 1942 in Sun Prairie and was the daughter of Urban and Julia (Renz) Klubertanz.
Theresa graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1960, and spent the last 45 years in Florida. Through the years, she worked as a civilian employee for the Air Force, a partner in her family's businesses, and finally retired after working in the financial aid office at a technical college in Orlando. Theresa's favorite hobby was spending time with family, particularly her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Eddie (Jill) Salettel of Beaver Dam and Tania (James) Travieso of Ocala FL; grandchildren, Justin, Summer, Andrew, Jordan, Annika, and E.J.; brothers Leonard (Karen) Klubertanz of Cross Plains, Richard Klubertanz of Waterloo, and Gerald (Lynda) Klubertanz of Sun Prairie; sisters Mary Honish of Sun Prairie and Judy Provenzano of Tampa Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brother-in-laws Harold Honish and Joe Provenzano; a sister-in-law Kay Klubertanz and a brother Dean.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie with Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt presiding. Burial will be in Sacred Hearts Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Friday. Memorials can be made to Sacred Hearts Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
