Suzann M. Muschinski, age 87, died peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Brookdale Memory Care in
Brookfield. She was born on September 6, 1935 in Stevens Point and was the daughter of James and Ruth
(Knapp) Petrick.
She married Bernard Muschinski Jr. on September 11, 1954, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Plainfield.
Suzie was a great host as well as a wonderful cook, who loved to entertain. She worked for 30 years as a
waitress at McGovern’s Supper Club in Sun Prairie.
She is survived by her 4 children, Debra Betz of Young Harris, GA, Patty Muschinski (fiance Clyde) of
Milwaukee, Bernard J. Muschinski III of Denver, CO, Paul Muschinski of Long Beach, CA;
granddaughters Patience and Lennon Muschinski; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernie in 2012 and a brother James Petrick.
A gathering in her memory will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Tuschen-
Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie.
A private burial will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Plainfield. The family would like to thank the
staff of Promedica Hospice and Brookdale Memory Care in Brookfield for their outstanding care and
concern during this past year.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established and donated to the Alzheimer’s
and Dementia Society of Wisconsin.
