Shirley Ann Benisch age 79, passed away on July 17, 2022 in Wisconsin Dells.
She was born on November 24, 1942 to Forrest and Marilyn (Johnson) Chase. Shirley married Willis Benisch on April 29, 1960 at Sacred Hearts in Sun Prairie.
She worked many years for Dane County as a court clerk and was active with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Shirley is survived by her children: Lisa (Jim) Burch, of North Freedom; Teri (Rick) Boyce, of Tulsa, OK;
Brian (Terri) Benisch, of Lake Mills;
12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, brothers; Al (Suzie) Chase, Joe (Kathy) Chase, Neil Chase and a sister Mary Chase.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willie in 1994; sister, Carol Mack, many in-laws, step-mother Margaret Chase and lifelong friends Sharon Durst and Lucy Van Dusen.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie. Interment will be held at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Sun Prairie.
