Sun Prairie——Ruth M. Rahn, age 96, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Sun Prairie Senior Living. She was born on January 26, 1928 in Cottage Grove and was the daughter of John and Leona (Doleshaw) Fredenberg. She married Lester Rahn on November 29, 1952 in Madison.
She is survived by her Daughter Sue Ellen (Bob) Voigt; granddaughter Ashley (Kyle) Wesner; a brother John Fredenberg; a sister Margie Drogsvold
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester in 2001; sisters Eleanor Kowski, Lois Benish, Dorothy Wagner; brothers Glen, Bill and Henry.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Hope Lutheran Church, 3702 County Trunk AB in Madison with Pastor Beth Schultz Byrnes presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
