Nancy McMahon left a message on May 12, 2017:
Dear Jim and Family,
I feel badly that I was unable to make "Ruthie's" funeral. We were childhood friends and sort of grew up together. I'm a year older than she but after she moved into Sun Prairie we used to ride our bikes together all over town. In High School, even though I went to Edgewood we would sometimes double date.
Through the years when we busy raising children we didn't get to see each other very often but I was always delighted to see her.
She is in my prayers and always will be and so are you.

Jack and family, our sincere condolences to you all. What a beautiful person she was, I visited her many times at Prairie Gardens in the last couple of years. What a great picture. We go back many years. We had every intention of being at the funeral service, but John is too sick to travel at this time. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. We will be with you. Letter to follow.
