Robert J. Mundt, age 70, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on September 27, 1947 to Harold and Doris (Tennant) Mundt. He married Donna Mae Burrow on March 27, 1971 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lake Mills.

Bob graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1965. He farmed most of his life, served in the Army Reserve National Guard, and most recently drove school bus for Kobussen. Bob was a member of the Marshall American Legion and he loved going to auctions and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife Donna; daughter Brenda (Bill) Hunsicker; grandchildren Bryanna and Billy Hunsicker; brothers Richard (Sharon) of Huntley, IL, Charles (Judy) of Oswego, IL, and William of Sun Prairie; and a sister Kathleen (Bob) Serrahn of Sun Prairie.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter Cheryl Vander Velden.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 232 Windsor Street in Sun Prairie with Pastor Luke Werre presiding. Burial will be held at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., Sun Prairie and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Wednesday. A luncheon will follow at the church after the committal.
