Rick A. Frame, age 57, passed away on Wed., July 29, 2015 at University Hospitals in Madison. He was born in March 1958 in Madison and was the son of Arthur and Lorraine (Hawkinson) Frame. He is survived by his loving life partner, Sue Hahn; a sister Christine (Robin) Frame –Heiman. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Rick was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Bonnie Wing. Rick worked in landscaping in his younger years but worked the majority of his years in heating and air conditioning in the Sun Prairie area. As a diehard Packer fan he enjoyed following each season and supporting the team. Rick loved the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were his passion. He spent many a days on lakes and streams fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Rick thought the world of Sue's boys and grandchildren. Rick was a kind and loving person with close friends who he received support from during his long illness.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie. Father Chahm Gahng will preside. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park in Madison. The family would like to thank the Hahn and Schroud families and Judy Roidt and Barb Faust for their love and support and also the nurses on the B6 floor oncology unit at University Hospitals as well as the transplant staff and Drs. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society- Dane County.
