Rebecca “Bec” (Baehr) Treige, age 44 passed away at her home in Madison on Saturday, April 23, 2011 after a 3 year battle with breast cancer. She was born on July 10, 1966 in Marshfield and is the daughter of Allen and Shirley (Geiger) Baehr.
She is survived by her 14 year old son, Kyle Treige; her fiancé, Kenneth Wanek; her parents, Allen and Shirley Baehr of Sun Prairie; a brother, David (Rachel) Baehr of Sun Prairie; her sisters: Jennifer (Corey) Gipp of Hatley, Laura (Bill) Leonhard of Stratford, Sue (Mike Foley) Baehr of Montfort, Trish (Pat) Schaefer of Sun Prairie, Ann (Jeff) Molitor of Dorchester and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; a nephew, Ryan Molitor and an uncle, James Baehr.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at The Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie with Pastor Scott Carlson presiding. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Garden. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Kyle Treige Trust Fund.
