Murphy, Phyllis Mae, age of 71, beloved daughter of her father, Lawrence (deceased) and mother, Florence (still living at the age of 100) Murphy, her parents and sister of Patricia (Murphy) Dishaw residing in Sun Prairie, and sister of Larry Murphy residing in Wisconsin Dells, and sister of Kathleen (Murphy) Cramer residing in St. Michael, MN.
Phyllis was born on September 28, 1943, in the City of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, the 3rd child of her loving parents, Lawrence and Florence Murphy. She is survived by three siblings, numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis graduated from Black River Falls High School, Class of 1961, attended Madison Business School and worked in several positions with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and other state agencies. Upon her retirement she did volunteer work for local welfare groups.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 am, Friday, May 15 at the United Methodist Church, 702 North St., Sun Prairie. The Murphy family respectfully asks that no cards, gifts or flowers be offered.
