Peter William Wright, age 43, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at his home in Sun Prairie. He was born in Milwaukee on November 16, 1973, to William and Pamela (Chmiel) Wright.
Peter graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1992 and also graduated from U.W. Whitewater with a degree in Communications. He served in the U. S. Navy. He worked as a disc jockey for various Wisconsin radio stations, most recently volunteering at community radio station 103.5 FM in Sun Prairie. He also ran a Saturday breakfast meeting for disabled veterans.
He is survived by his parents William and Pamela of Sun Prairie; a beloved sister Mary-Elizabeth (Brian) Vent of Marshall; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Funeral Service will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Dr. in Sun Prairie, on Saturday July 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dan Dibbert will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Sun Prairie City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the veteran's organization “Dry Hootch” in Madison.
