Pearl M. Mosier, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her home after a final sleepover with her sisters and surrounded by her family. She was born on January 6, 1951in Kankakee, IL and was the daughter of Joseph Jr. and Josephine (Tofari) Mosier.
Pearl worked for over 39 years at the Sun Prairie Public Library. Pearl had great joys in her life. The 1st was her family and the 2nd was her love of traveling. During her life she was able to combine these two joys with multiple family trips to Disney as well as the state of Washington, Italy, France, Holland, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.
She is survived by her mother, Josephine of Sun Prairie, brother, David (Carol) Mosier of Monee, IL; sister-in-law Irene Mosier of Bourbonnais, IL; sisters, Theresa (Richard) Burkeland of Sun Prairie, Kathy (Ron) Dorn of Sun Prairie; 9 nieces and nephews, Mindy (Jeff) Vaughn, Duane (Alyssa) Mosier Jr., Tiffany Mosier, John (Taryn) Mosier, Anthony (Nikki) Mosier, Alex Mosier, Brittany Burkeland, Douglas Dorn, Gregory Dorn; and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Jr.; a brother Duane Sr. and her grandparents.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. Monsignor Duane Moellenberdt and her cousin Father Robert Fenili will preside. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:45 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. It is at Pearl's request that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sun Prairie Public Library, Sacred Hearts Church or Agrace HospiceCare. Pearl and her family want to send a very special thank you to Dr. Sanyal of Dean Oncology.

Pearl was the best daughter, sister and aunt. She was there to care for our father when he had cancer, she was there for our brother when he had cancer and she has always been there to help care for her nieces and nephews. I went on many fun vacations with Pearl. We went to Florida, North Dakota, Washington, Missouri, California, Las Vegas, Kentucky, Kansas, Alabama, Minnesota, Bahamas, Mexico, Italy and Canada.
