Patricia Ann Rigney-Finken, age 72, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Sylvan Crossings at Chapel Valley in Fitchburg. She was born on May 6, 1944 in Marshfield and was the daughter of Elmer and Verna (Brandt) Rigney. She married Donald Finken on September 11, 1965. They were married until 1981. Patricia then married and divorced to Michael Stanley. She worked for Wisconsin Bell, Southwestern Bell and AT&T. She retired from AT&T (Missouri) in 1995 and moved back to Wisconsin. Through the years, she enjoyed doing ceramics. She had a talent for decorating and making spaces beautiful. She took great pride in spending time baby-sitting her grandchildren. She loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her sons Bradley; Brian (Sherry); daughters Tami Finken, Tina (Terry) Bauer and Heather (Jason) Merrill; her mother Verna Rigney; 2 brothers, LeRoy (Lucy) Charles, Steve (Ruth) Rigney, 2 sisters, Janet (Dick) Giers and Sandra (Greg) Tholt and 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Donald Finken and Elmer Rigney.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 28, 2016 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie. Interment will be held at a later date.
