It was an a honor to work with Patty at the former DHFS, currently DHS. I am sorry she could not attend the dinner outing we arranged with her sister, back in April 2016, when I learned she was sick. Linda (and Chuck), who we also worked with for many years, were our esteemed guests that night and we remembered Patty even though she could not attend that evening. We did a few golf outings over the years. I know she always looked forward to coming to her job at 1 W. Wilson Street. She will be missed by many more than her immediate families. She was way too young! and one of the best. Her brother Dennis found my missing 1969 High School class ring in 1995 on the State Capital grounds and over some years remembered it and found the owner of it (ME!) I lost it in 19710 when I registered for the draft lottery at the City County Bldg. and then stopped to view the capitol bldg. while I was conveniently on the square. I still treasure it. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, and whether or not I make the service, know that we also mourn her passing.
