Casmira “Myra” Hatzinger, age 89, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 at her home. She was born on November 22, 1922 in Milwaukee and was the daughter of Andrew and Eva (Czerniejewski) Stawski. Myra is survived by her 10 children, George (Sandy), Joan (Tom) Schmit, Mary Britt, Eve (Ray) Allar, Kathy (Neil) Borchert, Christine Starr, Connie (John) Tolley, Peter (Olena), Elizabeth (Todd) Achterberg, Ann (Michael) Hartnett; 30 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; a brother Ervin (Jean) Stawski and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George in 1978; 5 brothers; 1 sister; and a granddaughter, Alicia Hatzinger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie with Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt presiding. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Madison. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Tuesday.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made for Masses in her name or the American Cancer Society..
