Mike was fun to work with as he drummed with my trio - The Greenspring Band - back in the early 90's. We played Madison's Essen House, The East Side Businessman's Association and The McGovern Club in Sun Prairie, along with other private engagements. Mike knew he was a Country/Rock drummer at heart but was good natured enough to put up with our polkas and waltzes. After a few sets Mike would exclaim "I've got polkas down in my socks!" I will remember him singing Cab Driver and remarking to our sax and guitar man John - as he'd place the reed guard on his tenor sax and say "Well John, I see your practicing safe sax." Thanks for the music and the memories Mike! Grace and peace to all of you. Celebrate his life in Christ. Know that he is always with you all in the communion of saints as we celebrate All Saints Day this Sunday.

Hello Sue, I wanted to pass along the time I met your husband at the Farmers Market in Lodi. He was so excited about selling his soap he would ask which scent I enjoyed the most. He was so excited about passing on and sharing his hard work. He would hold the MANY different bars of soap up by my nose to see which one I liked the most. He had a great personality and fun to talk to. I'm so very sorry to hear for your loss, please let me know if I can help with ANYTHING! Karen

My heartfelt condolences to Susan & family. I knew Mike since the Sacred Hearts grade school days and he was mom's neighbor (Joy). He was always a nice person, helpful to many including mom. My prayers for you all.
