Michael was a great guy, he was one of the first people who made me feel at home when we first moved to Sun Prairie. He was fun to be around, he was ready to have a good time, and he smiled a lot. He was a good friend; intelligent and interested in people, ready to discuss all sorts of subjects, and to laugh with you, but never at you. He was my fellow Irishman, and I shall miss him.

Mike was great guy! We had many good times both on the volleyball courts and at the local pub after spirited matches. Mike had cancer for the many years that i knew him yet he always retained his good humor and determination not to let cancer stop him from doing the things that he wanted to do. We could all learn a lot from him. I want to extend my most sincere condolences to his family at this time of loss. He will be sorely missed!

Dear Family, I knew Mike only thru Turner volleyball ... we spent many many happy hours hitting the ball around the courts. He was a darn good player and a nice guy and will be missed by all of us.
