Mary J. Herman, age 86 , passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday April 15, 2013. She was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. She chose to live her remaining days with humor, dignity, and grace, surrounded by those she loved. Mary Jane's deepest pride was her family. She is survived by her daughters Kate Mack of Sun Prairie, Mary Anderson of Maumee Ohio; sons Mike (Judy) of Fifty Lakes, MN, Mark (Vickie) of Jacobson, MN, and Larry (Marsha) of Sun Prairie; and 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a brother Joe Gibney (Pat) of California and a sister Betty Ludovissie (Tony) of Minnesota. Mary is preceded in death by her husband LeRoy; and a sister Marge Stoetzel (John) of Illinois. Many thanks to her wonderful friends at Liberty Square, especially Teresa Lamers. A very special thanks to Dan McGarry P.A. with Dean Clinic. He went above and beyond in his care and friendship to her. We will forever be grateful for the happiness he gave to her. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 20, 2013 at St Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive in Sun Prairie. Msgr. Terrence Connors will preside. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Agrace Hospice Care.
