Mary Devine passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015.
Mary was born in Lodi, WI. The youngest of six of the late George and Alice Skarda on October 13, 1930.
She married her love Charles F. Devine on April 22, 1950. Married one month shy of 56 years together. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2006.
Mary worked for Demco in Madison for 20 years. Neuendorf Transportation for 20-25 years. Then for the University of Wisconsin Athletic Director Pat Richter before going to work 27 years for the USDA Dept. of AHPIS in Middleton. She worked until the age of 80.
Mary loved her husband Charles. They enjoyed trips all over this great United States. Loved going to Branson, MO. Wyoming, and Oregon with her husband. Just seeing nature and wildlife at our state and federal parks was pure enjoyment for them. Mary loved flowers, music and dancing with her man, Charles.
Mary loved talking to and seeing her grandchildren growing up to be, a great mom to three kids with a full time job and spouse., a special-educational teacher., and a strength and conditioning coach before head coaching on the long horizon. Being a part of her Great grandchildren growing up before her eyes from babies to elementary school before she left us was so monumental for her. Very proud of all, loved everyone so much.
