Mary A. Fleury, age 79, died on Friday, May 26, 2017 in Sun Prairie. She was born on June 8, 1937 in Sun Prairie to Melvin and Florence (Krier) Kroetz. She married Rodney Fleury on June 11, 1956. She enjoyed embroidery, her cats and spending time with grandchildren and family. Mary was also known for making the best apple cake. The Love of the farm never left her. Planting a garden and flowers is something she did every year. She is survived by her children Linda (Randy) Weisensel, Dawn (Hans Bralten) Fleury, Donald Fleury, and James Fleury; grandchildren, Michael and Joshua Weisensel, Maria and Elizabeth Fleury, Jacob Scheel, Amber Nichols and Kassandra Fleury; 2 sisters, Shirley Fehrman and Joan Sarac; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law Joanie Rymill and Jean Nelson; brother-in-law Richard Wagner; and aunt Genevieve Pulsfus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 2 sisters Janet Fleury and Donna Moodie.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 232 Windsor St. in Sun Prairie with Pastor Luke Werre presiding. Burial will be held at North Windsor Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. until the time of service at the church on Wednesday.
