Marlin B. Weisensel, age 77, died on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his home in Pardeeville. He was born on July 18, 1940 in Sun Prairie and was the son of Edwin and Mabel (Thomaschaske) Weisensel. He married Judith King on July 26, 1958 at Sacred Hearts in Sun Prairie

He is survived by his wife Judy; children; Connie (Ricky) Wolf of Waterloo, Lori Meister of Deerfield, Diane (Todd) Wilfong of Pardeeville; a son-in-law Mark Jungbluth; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and a sister, Eldred Weisensel of Montello, Carol (James) Czaplicki of Waunakee, Randy (Linda) Weisensel of Montello, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Patt; 2 sisters Marjorie and Lynn; and a brother Irven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt will preside. Burial will be at Sacred Hearts Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie and from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at the Church on Thursday.
