Marian K. Weber, age 79, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison after a brief illness. She was born on May 30, 1937 in Tomahawk, WI and was the daughter of Marinus “Mike” and Gertrude (Raatz) Van Ryen. She married Orin Weber on April 28, 1956 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Bristol. Together with Leon and Rosie Weber she and her husband operated the family business Weber Tires, Inc. Marian enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. She loved her family gatherings at her cottage. She also loved the Green Bay Packers.
She is survived by her children, Diane Weber, Lynn (Mike) King, Gail (Phil) Kueffer, Dennis (Vicki) Weber all of Sun Prairie; 7 grandchildren, Lisa King, Laura (Brian) Gaumont, Billie Weber, Nathan (Holly Dorscheid), Jason and Katelyn Kueffer, Nick Gomez (Stephanie); 1 great grandchild Miles; a sister, Margaret Furan; sisters-in-law, Rosie Weber, Marge Tesar, Diane Maertz and Bea Van Ryen and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Orin in 1993; a sister Dorothy Hanna and a brother Harold Van Ryen; brothers-in-law, Leon Weber, Eugene Weber, Marcus Pulvermacher, Harvey Tesar, Robert Furan and Orvin Hanna.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Bristol with Father Vincent Brewer presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Arthritis Foundation. A special thanks to the staff of Prairie Gardens. A catered luncheon will follow at the Roundtable in Sun Prairie.
