Margie Jane Allen, age 95, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Sun Prairie Health Care Center. She was born in Portage on August 13, 1923 to Reinhold and Millie (Frederickson) Rohde. She married John D. Allen on March 17, 1943.
Margie worked as a Controller at PIC in Portage, WI and for Ashland Oil Industries in Deland, FL.
She is survived by her children, Steve (Jean) Allen of Beaver Dam, Larry (Mary) Allen of Eagan, MN, Sherry (Gerry) Sachs of Beaver Dam; 4 grandchildren, Brian (Bethany) Sachs, Holly (Bo) Stackhouse, Katie (Matt) Bailey, Kevin (Kendra) Allen; 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; sister Betty Wyman and brother Russ Rohde.
A special THANK YOU to the SPHC Staff for their loving care of Margie for the many years she struggled with Alzheimer's.
A Family Celebration Service will be held at a later date.
