Lorraine T. Kennedy, age 65, died on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Belmont Nursing Home. She was born on April 18, 1948 in New Haven, Connecticut and was the daughter of Frank Proto and Carmel Murano. She married Henry Kennedy on September 14, 1980 in New Haven. She resided in Hamden, Connecticut most of her life before moving to Sun Prairie in 2012.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Tom) Kanoff of Sun Prairie; a son Christopher (Roxann) Ames of Wallingford, CT; 7 grandchildren, Tom Jr. (Kristin), Stephanie, Melissa, Jennifer, Jessica, Nick, Chris Jr.; 1 great grandchild, Maddie; and a brother Frank Proto.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Henry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie with Father Vince Brewer presiding. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc.
