The year has passed since we lost Linda. Thanks to others in the office we are reminded of not only Linda's smiling face, but the contributions she made to the work we do at DHS. Her work with HealthSpace specifically will always be a reminder of her dedication to this project. We still miss you Linda, but we realized you have moved on to a sanctuary in which you can forever rest and not be bothered with the trials and tribulations of this life. Rest peaceful my dear, you deserve it.

I have professionally known Linda for about 4 years now. In that time she has shown that she was an amazing person. She was smart, funny and very good at what she did. She was an amazing person and will be truly missed by many. I hope that her journey has taken her to a better place now.

When my family and I first moved to Wisconsin from Oregon, after the intial settling in process, it was Linda that reached out to me and made me feel most welcome. Over the years, Linda become a confidant, a friend, a mother figure and most importantly someone trustworthy. My admiration for her grew during my wife's ordeal in which she offered her culinary talents to help with any meals my boys and I wantd or needed because of my wife's illness. This act of kindness and sincerity I have never forgotten and will always keep close to my heart. The measure and character of a person is personfied through their actions, not their words. Linda spoke eloquently and forcefully through her deeds. This is my most vivid and lasting reminder of my friend and co-worker Linda Kay Nesbit. Linda we love you, we shall miss you, but we shall never forget you.
