Lennice E. Barr, of Sun Prairie, passed away Wednesday April 24, 2019. Lennice was born July 29, 1929 in Colby to Edwin and Lydia (Schumann) Frome. Lennice was married to the love of her life, Don, for 68 years.
Lennice is survived by her husband, Don; children Rob (Kathy) of Milwaukee, Vicki (Jim) Peterson of Saukville, Sandy (Bob) Hundt of Sun Prairie, and Lori (Rick) Govier of Oregon; grandchildren Mike Peterson, Sara Barr (Mike Norkus), Patrick (Mandie) Barr, Cory (Angie) Hundt, Ryan Govier, Austin Hundt, Gavin Hundt and Nathan Govier; great-grandchildren Taylor and Kayden Norkus and Miles and Stella Barr; brother Bill (Denise) Frome; and many nieces and nephews.
Lennice was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers Edwin, Jr. (Evelyn), Glenn (Lucille), and Kenneth; 2 sisters Marion (Gordon) Mellenthin, and Elaine; and granddaughter Andrea Peterson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday April 28, 2019, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 300 Broadway Drive in Sun Prairie, with Pastor Steve Vera presiding. A visitation will be held on Sunday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Sun Prairie Memory Garden.
