Ken Grieve passed away at home on Wednesday, May 17 2017. He was 69.
Born and raised in New York City to Jesse and Josephine Grieve, Ken and his sister, Bonnie, were most fortunate that their mother was the family sparkplug and planner.
Ken took great pride in achieving the Eagle Scout Rank with the Boy Scouts of America, earning it on the streets of Queens, NYC. He devoted over 20 years to the Boy Scouts.
In 1968, Ken graduated from Cornell University and came to the Midwest to work for Oscar Mayer & Co. He received a first-class experience in business for 27 years, spending most of his time managing the Training Department. After doing private consulting, he ended his working career at American Family Insurance.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Lonny, and two fantastic children, Brandon and Kristi, from his first wife, Sharon. Ken and Kristi shared a very special bond of love, thinking, learning and understanding. He was very proud of his 47-year friendship and mentorship with 'Little Brother' Bruce Ricco.
Kens favorite hobby was traveling. He explored all 50 states, most provinces of Canada and over 30 foreign countries. He had two special places that were important in his life: The Farm in Beach Lake, PA and Devil's Lake, WI.
