Kenneth A. Maly, age 84 passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Legacy of Deforest. He was born on July 17, 1939 and was the son of Jacob and Anna (Hillenbrand) Maly. He married Alice Blaschka on February 8, 1958 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. Ken drove an 18 wheel Semi truck for many years with Mertens Transport and JJ Transport.
He is survived by; 4 children, Sue (Gary) Merkes of Sun Prairie, Debra (Chuck) Kuhl of Poynette; Steven (Adele Turnage) Maly of Gainesville, FL; Brenda (Jeff) Hermann of Sun Prairie; 8 grandchildren, Chris, Danny, Kelly, Tanya, Tammy, Theresa, Brittany, Brooke and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother Lawrence (Ramona) Maly; sister-in-law Leta Maly. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Alice; sister, Catherine Richmond; a brother James and infant brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 229 Columbus St. Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Legacy aides and Heartland Hospice for their care of Dad.
