March 26, 1936 - January 30, 2018

Keith “Ole” Johnson, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at his home in Sun Prairie. He was born on March 26, 1936 in Cottage Grove County and was the son of Louis and Grace (Snook) Johnson. He married Sandra Chicanich on November 14, 1964 in Wisconsin Dells. Keith spent 4 years in Japan while serving in the in the U.S. Army.

He is survived his wife; 2 children, Heidi Johnson of Sun Prairie and Eric (Michelle Ibeling) Johnson of Round Rock, TX; 3 grandchildren, Caleb, Grace and Taylor Ibeling.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters Geraldine Schultz, Joyce Roust and Leah Esser.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Remembering all the good times our families shared in the "old" neighborhood. Our kids growing up and spending time outside, our coffee chats with your mother, and later, seeing Ole at the train show. I'll never forget Ole's asking Chuck after Randy was born, "Is he a keeper?" For a long time, we would say to our kids, "yes, you're a keeper, all right."
