June P. Dahl, age 91 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on June 2, 1926 in Batavia, Illinois to John and Mabel (Anderson) Wanhagen. She married Donald Dahl on December 29, 1946 at First Lutheran Church in Stoughton.
June is survived by her daughter Gloria Read; grandchildren John (Heidi) Smithe, and Sara (Jim) Scott; great-grandchildren, Hope and Tristan Scott; and a niece Dianne (Bob) Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law David Read; and a sister Marion Sigerstad.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Lutheran Church, 1525 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, with Pastor Jerry Tews presiding. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Covenant Lutheran Church.
