Julie Ann Ross, age 61, passed away after a year-long battle with cancer. She was born on November 17, 1962 in Madison and was the daughter of Elmore and Marion (Fassbender) Schulenburg.
She married Michael Ross on August 27, 1983 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. Julie worked for the Dane County Airport for 23 years, also JCPenney Salon and Shopko. She loved spending time with her son Austin, going up North on a “Beer Camp Girls Trip” and other warm weather vacations. Julie treated people as she would like to be treated!
She is survived by: her husband Mike; a son Austin; siblings, James (Mary) Schulenburg, Jean (John) Warren, Mary (Steve) Heiman and Jon Schulenburg; nieces and nephews, Staci (Mario) Altuzar, Steven Schulenburg, Christina Warren, William (Laura) Warren, Elizabeth (Justin) Williams, Michael (Brittany) Warren, Jacob (Dennille) Heiman, Joshua (Nicole) Schulenburg, Justin (Necole) Schulenburg, Shayla Schulenburg, Matthew Kinblad, Amanda (Chris) Kinblad, and Samantha (Mark) Sahf; great nieces and nephews, Jordy, Lucas, Brayden, James, Mackenzie, Cameron, Brycen, Kemper, and Benjamin; her mother-in-law, Janet; sisters-in-law, Lee (Jim) Kessenich, Marian (Joe) Ross; her brothers-in-law, Pat (Karen) Ross and Dan (Debbie) Ross .
Julie is preceded in death by her parents; nephews, David Schulenburg and Adam Ross; and father-in-law, Fred.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. The family invites everyone to a gathering and luncheon at the Round Table 1611 N. Bristol St., Sun Prairie, immediately following the visitation. The family would like to thank her friends especially Brenda Brown and Nancy Brokmeier.
