Joanne Handley, age 75, of Sun Prairie passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Joanne was born in Madison on July 10, 1940 to Bertha Sabroff and Peter Morschauser. She attended High School at Central High in Madison.
Joanne' s first job was at St. Mary's Hospital in the laundry department and then retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after many years. She enjoyed the Packers, participating in crocheting, puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.
Joanne is survived by her children, Mike (Debbie) Longfield of Phillips, Mary Longfield of Sun Prairie, Jeff Longfield of Sun Prairie, and Jay (Regina) Longfield of DeForest; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her angel Millie Prescott; and best friend Jan Outhouse.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband Neil Handley; son Billy Longfield; a brother Bobby; a sister Betty; and niece Karen.
Joanne's family would like to extend a very special thanks to Agrace HospiceCare for all the care given to Joanne.

We are so sorry to hear of her passing. She will greatly be missed! My dad (William Morschauser) was Joanne's brother and Joanne and my dad lived together for awhile and they both got puppies! Joanne was so nice to let her dog stay with his dog when she moved out. Her female puggle named Tammy is part of our family now along with TJ. They are a very special bonded pair of puggles! Tammy is a real puggle and T.J. is a pug mix. We love them very much. When I look at Tammy sometimes...my mind goes to Joanne. I remember when she showed me her puggle calendar and she was so happy at the time. I am grateful to have Tammy. She is loved very much. (as you can see...I never changed her name either.... so there are 2 Tammys in the house) :) I will miss her. I know my dad misses her too. Love, Tammy Gallicano
