JoAnn Achammer, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at the Willows Nursing Home in Sun Prairie. She was born in Madison on March 27, 1943 and was the daughter of William and Angela (Schey) Achammer. She worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation for over 30 years.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Jeaneen (Richard) Lettman of Fitchburg, Susan (Charles) Varco of Cambridge; 2 nephews Michael Lettman of Gilbert, AZ and Mark Lettman of Tampa, FL; 1 great nephew and 2 great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt will preside. Burial will be at Sacred Hearts Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Friday. Memorials may be made to Sacred Hearts Building and Grounds Fund.
