Jill Benzine (nee Peschl), age 74, died on Monday, April 24, 2023 from complications of Diabetes. She was born on January 17, 1949 at St. Mary’s Hospital to Donald and Delores (Smyth) Peschl.
Jill grew up in the Sun Prairie area, graduating from Sun Prairie High School in 1967. In 1968 she married James Aubart and was blessed with two children, James and Jenni. In 1985 Jill married Jeff Benzine, with whom she spent the rest of her life. She held many jobs, including owning and operating Benzine Bus Services and Olde Towne Liquor. Jill lived in Pardeeville, Doylestown, and Footville, before moving to Marshall to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her: husband Jeff; son James (Helen); grandchildren Abby and Bryce; siblings, Jackie, Stan (Gina), Brian, Terri and Karen.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jenni; and siblings Don, John, Cindy, Sharon and Bruce.
A gathering in her memory will be on June 17th from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the VFW, 349 S. Walker Way in Sun Prairie.
