Jay M. Freitag, age 51, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Sun Prairie Emergency Center. He was born on April 3, 1961 in Madison and was the son of Dale and Alice (Hass) Freitag. Jay owned Freitag Inc. and enjoyed selling and servicing farm equipment.
He is survived by his daughter Meghan of Sun Prairie; his mother Alice (Tom) Freitag of Sun Prairie; 2 brothers, Scott (Tammy) Freitag of Sun Prairie, Brad (Connie) Freitag of Sun Prairie and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Dale in 1980
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 304 Woodward Drive in Sun Prairie. Pastor Rick Bloom will preside. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday.
