My thoughts and prayers go out to my Aunt Betty and my Hansen cousins. I know that Janet was met with open arms by those that love her on the other side. I am sure that the reunion with her dad, Bill, and Paul was a sweet one, although bittersweet for those of us who mourn her loss. I will miss her sweet posts to her mother and her spunky personality. Love you cousin! Till we all meet again!

I knew Janet in High School. She was a year older than me. She was so much fun and outgoing! She was so full of life and I am so sad to hear she passed away so young. I raise money every year for cancer research so others will have more time here with loved ones. Their are so many who loved her so. Again my deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
with love,
Susie

This message is specifically for DJ and Bailey,

As DJ' First Grade teacher, I was deeply saddened to learn of your mother's death. The minute I saw her picture in the newspaper, I well remembered that beautiful-eyed lady and her two creative children! I am so sorry that your mother had to suffer and I am so sorry for your loss. You were a special student of mine and your pain is mine!

May all of Janet's family continue to carry on in her memory as she would want. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Thinking of you,
Patricia Statz

It is hard to put into words the sadness I am feeling over the loss of my dear sister Janet. I know so many others are equally as heartbroken as I am. She was such a happy and vibrant person. I have so many memories of her throughout her entire life. I recall vividly when she was still a baby and contracted a Staff infection and the Doctor's told our parents she was not going to survive. Well she surprised them. Janet is a wonderful wife to Dan and an adoring mother to DJ and Bailey. She will be greatly missed but I know she is already having fun in Heaven with her father, Ralph, Sr. her brothers... Paul and William... and all our family who were there to greet her.
God Bless her and all those she loved in return !

Dear Family of Janet, I would like to express my most sincere sympathy and condolences on the loss of your beautiful mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt Janet. I met Janet back in the 1960's and grew up with her in the old Edison School Hammond neighborhood. I have many fond memories of playing at the schoolyard and later in High School; taking 'lunch time' rides in her dad's then new Buick LaSabre. :) Those were great times I will forever cherish. God bless you and your family during this difficult time and always.
