Donna and family -

When I ventured out to get my first job, I looked no further than the Candy Stand at the Angell Park Swimming Pool. Of course it helped that my grandfather, Hank Thomas, was a member of the SPVFD.

I would pick up the paychecks for the employees every two weeks from Jake and Donna's house and always had a nice visit with them. Jake, your kindness was an inspiration.

Hold onto the memories, my condolences to all of you.
