Helen L. Stoiber, 95, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Kindred Hearts in Cottage Grove. She was born on March 25, 1920 in Hartford, and was the daughter of Abner and Ida (Trapp) Riley. She married Donald Stoiber on October 18, 1947 in Neosho.
Don and Helen loved square dancing, camping and going to Florida in the winter. She was a beautician for many years. Helen is survived by nieces and nephews, Marlene (Warren) Wendt of Horicon, Jane Hoffman of Hartford, Thomas (Kathy) Wagner of Lakeland, FL, June Becker of Hartford, Arthur Hahn of St. Louis, Patricia (Fred) Korth of Muskego, Laurie Biedenbender of Oshkosh, Barbara (Robert) Dettman of Cottage Grove, Sharon (Paul) Speiser of Hartford, Sue (Dennis) Kindl of Mukwanago, Michael Riley, Tomahawk and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers Walter, Robert, Gordon and Donald; sisters Gladys Wagner, Jean Hahn and niece Karen Olson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Sun Prairie United Methodist Church 702 North St. with Pastor Frank Gaylord presiding. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Church or Agrace Hospice.
