Harold E. Bennesh, age 99 died on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Villages Hospital in Florida. He was born on March 1, 1913 and lived for 92 years in Sun Prairie and was the son of John and Matilda (Peschel) Bennesh. For the past 7 years Harold moved to Kentucky and finally Florida with family members. He spent all his working years on the family farm with his brother Robert. Originally they had a large chicken and egg farm of which later became a dairy, pig farm and then cash crops. Harold loved farming. He also enjoyed watching baseball, basketball and football, travel of which he went on trips late in life with family members
Harold is survived by his brother Robert; a nephew John (Joan) Bennesh; great nephews Eric (Bethany) Olsen, Aaron (Kimberly) Bennesh, Christopher Bennesh; great great nephews, Skylar, Nicholas and great, great nieces Jadebrielle, Miah, MacKenzie, Hannah and Emma

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and sister-in-law Albert and Beatrice Bennesh.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. Father John Putzer will preside. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday. Harold will be sadly missed by his brother and all of his family members.
