Gregory Dean Lund, age 61, passed away doing what he loved – farming, on Monday, September 11, 2023 in Spring Valley Township.
He was born on June 23, 1962 in Monroe, Wisconsin, the son of Kenneth and Judith (Ballmer) Lund. He married Lynne Steindl on March 23, 1991 at Orfordville Lutheran Church.
Greg was a third-generation farmer. His life revolved around family and farming.
He is survived by his wife Lynne; children: Jenna Lund and Bo Lund; sister; Luann (Michael) Varilek Brodhead; sister in law and brother in law: Karla Parrish and Tony (Debbie) Steindl, Janesville; nieces and nephew: Stephanie, Sarah, Haley and Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steven Lund.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Orfordville Lutheran Church with Pastor Tom Kreis officiating. Visitation will be on Monday September 18, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER-SILVERTHORN CHAPEL ON THE HILL, Orfordville.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Town of Center.
