Gerald Clarence Haag, age 85, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at home. He was born on February 13, 1938, in Perry Township to Peter and Bernadine (Brings) Haag. Jerry married Beverly Jeanne Zick on April 1, 1967 at Sacred Hearts in Sun Prairie.
Jerry was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked for the Electric Motor Service in Madison for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Bev; 2 daughters, Carmella (Frank) Radtke of Denzer, and Carrie (James) Kilian of Waterloo; 4 grandchildren, Tyler (Tammrin), Rebecca Radtke, Megan Kilian, Trevor (Kylie) Kilian; and a sister, Leta Maly of Sun Prairie.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lois Barman and Frances Yelk; and a brother, Cletus;
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 229 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. Father William Vernon will preside. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Marshall. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
