Elaine E Manthe, age 87, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Prairie Gardens in Sun Prairie. She was born on June 11, 1927 in Sun Prairie and was the daughter of Gilbert and Esther (Fehrman) Schey. She married Robert Manthe on June 5, 1954 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. She owned and operated the Prairie Diner in Sun Prairie with her husband Bob. She also worked for Ray O Vac and Wisconsin Porcelain. Elaine was an avid Packer, Badger and Brewer fan. She also enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Tom) Anderson, Mishell Lendborg (Andy), Alica (Ken Perry) Weihert, Roberta Bohling all of Sun Prairie; grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer (Troy) Humphrey, Melissa, Justin (Laura), Joshua (Ashley), Jessica (Billy) Chambers, Jeremy, Hunter, Zachary; great grandchildren, Curtis, Elena, Dylan, Raven, Madisyn, Mason, Carter, Troy, Lilly, Deion; son-in-law Dan Lendborg; sister-in-law, Doris Manthe and many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob and daughter Kelly; son-in-law Jamie Weihert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie, with Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt presiding. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at The Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., Sun Prairie and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Tuesday. A Scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Sacred Hearts Cemetery. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sacred Hearts School Endowment Fund or Agrace HospiceCare. A special thanks to the staff of Prairie Gardens and Hospice. Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, you will be greatly missed by your family and friends. You will always be in our hearts and prayers, You will be with your husband and Kelly and parents. Go Pack GO!!
