Duane R. Reinen, age 78, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012 at his home in Madison. He was born on April 17, 1934 in Sun Prairie and was the son of Marion H. Reinen Nelson and step-father, Olin G. Nelson.
He is survived by his brother, Daniel (Mary) Nelson of Hampton, New Hampshire, a niece, Jennifer (Joel) Perdy of Haverhill, MA, a nephew Daniel (Tamara) Nelson, Jr. of Princeton, NJ; and 1 grandniece, Paisley.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald, and his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie. Mr. Les Benedict of the Fitchburg Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses will preside. Burial will be held in the Bristol Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home on Saturday.
The family would like to express deep appreciation for all of the care provided to Duane by Laura and Tim Gates, Heidi Scherr, Rachel Hahn, their respective staffs, and the hospice team from Agrace Hospice.
