Donovan Michael Weisensel passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison. Donovan was born on April 17, 2015, to Michael Weisensel Jr. and Tess Hammes in Madison.
With Donovan's passing we are reminded that his life is to be celebrated. He will be forever in our hearts. Donovan's feisty spirit and shining happy personality touched everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
Donovan is survived by his parents; grandparents, Michael (Kim) Weisensel Sr., Jeanne Hammes, and Bill Hammes; great-grandma Stella Weisensel; 2 Aunts, Katie Weisensel (James Pfutzenreuter), and Katherine (Tyler) Dodge; and 8 cousins
Donovan was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Sylvester Weisensel Sr., Dave and Betty Hammes, Dan and Mary Roob.
A Prayer Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie. Father Chahm Gahng will preside. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30a.m. Wednesday at the Church. The family wishes to thank Tim Deters his night nurse and the Doctors, Nurses and staff at American Family Children's Hospital for their wonderful care of Donovan
