Dianne C. Olson, age 64, passed away on Monday May 16, 2016 at her home in Sun Prairie. She was born on June 30, 1951 in Madison to John and Henrietta (Nolden) Kurt. She married William M. Olson on September 11, 1971 at St. Michaels Church in Dane.
Dianne worked as a Team Coordinator at Cuna Mutual for 25 years, prior to that she worked for the Department of Justice, as well as the Department of Revenue. She was very dedicated to the Sun Prairie Library, where she served as a volunteer and past member of Friends of the Library.
Dianne is survived by her daughter Sabrina (Aaron) Perkins; 2 grandchildren, Aubrey and Adalynn; 4 brothers, John (Elaine) of AZ, Lawrence (Janet) of Dane, Fred (Joy) of Waunakee, and Ray (Nancy) of Dane; 3 sisters, Marilyn Wipperfurth of DeForest, Elaine Rumple (CR) of Stoughton and Beverly Kurt of Madison; brothers-in-law, Robert (Veronica) of Boulder Junction, and David Olson of NC; and many nieces and nephews.
Dianne is preceded in death by her husband William; parents; sister Elizabeth Curran; brother Thomas Kurt; father-in-law, Myron Olson; mother-in-law, Anita Olson; brothers-in-law, Donald Wipperfurth and Jim Curran.
A Memorial Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016, at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday. “Your joy and love of people and life will stay in our hearts and memories forever.”
